Data Use & Retention
Black Sun stores only the operational records needed to run onboarding, rank progression, events, support, fleet, market, and economy systems.
Operational records
Discord identity, RSI verification, rank state, event attendance, tickets, market activity, economy ledger entries, fleet records, and asset registry records may be retained while they are needed for org operations.
Some records are kept as audit history so leadership can review support actions, economy changes, event payouts, rank changes, and access decisions.
Retention approach
Current operational records remain available to the systems that need them. Older records may be archived, summarized, or removed when they are no longer needed for accountability or active workflows.
Public reporting should use aggregate counts and sanitized summaries by default instead of exposing individual Discord IDs, private wallets, private attendance, or sensitive operational details.
Correction requests
Members can request review of inaccurate RSI links, profile names, role records, rank records, ticket state, event attendance, or economy records through the Black Sun support flow.
Corrections should preserve auditability when a record affected access, payout, rank, or moderation decisions.
